Attn. Germans/Austrians/Swiss in the UK, England: pls s. d.?

Where do you currently live in England and what are the pro's and con's about the place you live in from your point of view and according to your experience - also about living in England itself? What place would you recommend to someone (single, not a big party animal, loves nature but also appreciates access to the city, needs international job opportunities) who plans to move to England? In terms of infra structure, mentality, mobility etc. Naturally answers are welcome in English and German. Thanks ;-) It is not the first time I am leaving the country (Austria), have lived in many places, but now I am at a point that requires advice from you folks. Cheers!
