Bullcrap! It is you, and you get off the frickin' guilt trip. Be thankful for what you have - don't forget where you came from, but don't feel guilty or superior just because in a sense you've hit the lotto. Always remember EVERYONE is a person worthy of your kindness and compassion until they prove differently. You are not a better person because you've got money, and that bum sleeping under some bridge isn't trash just because he or she doesn't have any. So use your new found status to lend a hand to the less fortunate, but don't back away from it either. You have new responsibilities handle them with grace and love.
