Aver tv hybrid volar max?

Just tried using the device listed above. I am using it on a computer that it used to work on but now every time I click on the tv tab in the program it freezes. I think it might have to do with a windows update for this program or device. How do I remove the update if that will fix this problem. It is listed under windows updates. I did try uninstalling and reinstalling this device.
