Cool car for teen boy?

I have been driving for about 8 months and i've done about 7000miles in that time. Most of this has been in some what congested city driving and i drive a manual car so i feel im an ok driver now. I've decided i want something more visually appealing than my Nissan Hardbody for my last year in high school. I have always loved the Nissan 350z but my friends, and parents (who are paying for the car) feel that 2 seaters are impractical. So what cars would look as cool as the 350z to guys and girls especially while still being somewhat fast.
