Question about Minecraft?

I cant get minecraft to run on my mac..its running 10.5, latest java. When I try to log into the launcher it says "user not premium" (not downloaded) BUT it is downloaded! it doesnt give me the option to play offline..its the beta, I havent boughten the game. I looked around through my system folders and found the "minecraft" folder was empty!. I reinstalled at least 10 times and still, it always downloads with an empty folder! Also, the minecraft launcher doesnt look right, it has alot of code written at the top and its all glitchy. I tried this on another mac running 10.5 too and it did the same thing! then, i tried logging in on the website to play in browser but it still says user not premium and that i need to buy the game! please help!

I currently have Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit and I want to install Mac OS X Leopard 10.5 on another drive ( I got 5 drives all 95GB each ) and I want to know if installing Mac OS X Leopard 10.5 will mess up my Windows 7 Ultimate boot.ini because last time I installed Windows XP on the same computer and it wouldn't boot up Windows 7. I tried a lot of things but nothing helped so I had to reinstall Windows 7. I would appreciate any answers. Thanks.

I have checked my finances and found that I have room to spend $30,000 on a new car and I am wondering what to get. I want an upscale compact sedan or possibly a hatchback. I have no kids and a girlfriend so I do not need a lot of space but I don't want a strict 2 seater. I do not want a BMW or AUDI so don't say 3 series or A4 because I just don't want to go with the crowd and buy German. I am looking at a new volvo s40 or c30 and really like them. I test drove an R design s40 and it was great. Great handling and quick controlled bursts of speed to change lanes. OS won't boot (deleting directx the cause)?

I have a three year old Dell Inspiron 1525 running Vista. I was having trouble with directx trying to play a game and accidentally deleted (now knowing that was extremely stupid). It takes 7-10 mins to load after that you just see the mouse then it just reboots. I do not have any system restores and want to recover my files before trying to wipe and reinstall the whole OS. I already tried to repair the system using the OS disc but it didn't seem to work. Anybody have any suggestions or advice to fix the problem or have a way to recover my files before I contact tech support?

Why does my Team Fortress 2 keep saying 'retrieving server information' when I click 'start playing'?

I installed TF2 and after 7 hours of installing everything seemed to be working perfectly but the online play. I clicked 'start playing' and it just says 'retrieving server information please wait.' So I waited about a half an hour and it still said it. So I uninstalled and reinstalled it, which took another 7 hours, and it says the same thing. I've tried restarting my steam, reinstalling the game, restarting my computer, and also restarting my router but nothing seems to change or help. Any ideas on why this is happening or what I can do to fix it? Thanks!

Sims update only half installed now Sims won't work?

I tried updating my Sims and installing the new PC/Mac Game Update for 1.22, and the installation just stopped. A screen popped up and said that the installation failed, so I tried to reinstall it by going under the update tab in the Sims start up menu. The tab said that my game was all up to date, so I thought maybe the update did work for reason. I started up my Sims game and it wouldn't load past a black screen. I left it running for twenty minutes and the screen stayed black and my Sims won't work at all! How do I fix this?! I can't find a link to try and reinstall the update anywhere.

My sims 3 game freezing (PC)?

OK so a few days ago my sims 3 game had an update and with that update it made me download origins Beta after that my sims 3 game stopped working. when ever i go into my game the first few seconds it freezes. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it 3 times and then i installed it using origins which took 6 hours (wtf) it barley took me 30 mins before. The game is still not working. Why aren't programs opening on my Windows 7 computer?

Various programs don't seem to be opening on my computer, while others do continue working. Currently running Windows 7. iTunes stopped opening last night so I uninstalled and reinstalled it, but now the iTunes .exe file isn't opening. The mouse shows activity and it shows the program in the taskbar for about a second before it dissapears. WinRAR also doesn't open and neither do Disk Defragmenter or System Restore. Please help. My programs won't open! This is very frustrating, please help!?

This has to be the third question I've asked today about the same topic. Basically, many of my computers program won't open. They'll just load after I click them and all of a sudden just stop. This is very frustrating! The program only appears for a quick second in the task manager than dissapears. I've tried deleting the programs and reinstalling them, but that doesn't work either. I've even tried to do a system restore to a point before I've experienced these problems and that doesn't work either! Is there anyone who can help and tell me what exactly do I need to do? Help Please!!! Oblivion 4 playing choppy all the sudden where do i start?

I have been playing Oblivion 4 for 3 months no problem but all the sudden as i move through the scene things get poppy. Not slow framerates just no longer the fluid motion it once had. I have turned down the settings and also as low as 640x480 and still the same "poppiness, jumpiness and my character moves through the scenes. Everything in distance scenes which once appeared gradually and fluidly now just pops into view. Where do i start? Is this natural? Do i need to reinstall the game-want to know if so ill reorder it ive since lost the other disk...help!!

Is ultravnc 1.10.24 (or some other numbers) a virus?

at first i thought it was a virus i made a copy of ultimate boot cd then i found it in the folder after i had already made 2 isos. so i scan the isos(that were already on the cd)and while it was scanning i saw a folder called ultravnc but i didnt c any ultravnc files and the two ativiruses i scanned the iso with didnt find anything(malware bytes,comcast anti spyware). ok so i deleted the folder ultravnc virus was found in(on my c: not the iso) and then later i found it again in my system volume folder. so i guess ultimate boot iso dosnt have a virus or does it.by the way there was virus that redirected me 2 freeze.com(on a totally different computer i was fixing) ok i know this is a virus site so i close the mozilla firfox browser and scanned using bootable isos so i got rid of alot of fake alerts and stuff(which i found strange since no fake alerts were popping up when i was on). Then it stopped redirecting me and just as a precaution i uninstalled mozilla firefox then reinstalled(because freeze.com was a toolbar i figured out). Then it said disabled in add ons menu and said it was compataible with the new mozilla and it also dosnt have a remove button next to its name like other add ons. Could it already be gone from the virus scans or is it still a toolbar and if so how do i go about getting rid of the toolbar.

Hard drive replacement-- was I ripped off?

I was having problems with my 2008 Macbook Pro, and I took it to a repair shop (not an apple store) to get it checked out. They told me the problem was the hard drive, so I had it replaced . It's since been running perfectly-- the only catch is that my previous hard drive was 180 GB, and the new one is only 80 GB. When I talked to them initially, they told me they were going to put in another 180 GB HD, but they were apparently out of stock and just popped in the 80 GB HD thinking (rightly, I should add) that I wouldn't want to pay a fortune for the huge HDs that they did have in stock. The whole shebang cost me $175 (that includes a new operating system, reinstalled Microsoft Office , added some Adobe software, put my old hard drive in an external enclosure so I could transfer files). The hard drive I thought I was going to get would have cost me $225-- but we're talking more than double the storage capacity. Everything is running smoothly, as requested, but considering they didn't consult me first about the new HD, I felt a little perturbed. Additionally, I just looked up the price of the hard drive they installed (FUJITSU MHY2080BH Media), and found that it is available rather cheaply online (something like 30 bucks). Obviously, there is the repair cost to consider-- but nevertheless, I am not entirely sure where all my money went. Maybe I'm just being paranoid, but can anyone tell me if I am justified in feeling moderately cheated?

Okay, so one week from Friday is my 8th grade graduation! I'm so excited! I bought this dress, and It fits, but I think it's look better if i lost a few lbs before. ok here is a question for everyone. I had a capsule (strider dlx) installed by RTA (NSW) yesterday and he installed the capsule behind passenger (i have a 8 seater Carnival/Sedona) how ever the passenger seat was that far forward it be lucky if a 12 year old could fit in it. I always though middle was best especially if back seat has side airbags. They installed my 2 year old AHR maxi rider in middle. I how ever ended up changing it my self as I explained the man how is my disable mother suppose to access the front seat and isn't middle safer and was told no, so I ended up putting capsule in middle (but might need one of those buckles that tighten seat belt) and sons car seat(he has buckle to tighten seat belt) is behind driver so if I ever have to pick someone up the passenger side is vacant, I unbuckle my son and get him to crawl past capsule and he comes through to passenger side and i can easily acess capsule from passenger side too. So what would u do if u had a 7 seat or 8 seater vechile?

Computer driver installation?

I recently put a new hard drive in my computer and purchased a recovery disc to reinstall my windows xp operating system, service pack, and drivers! I was able to reinstall the O.S, and the service pack, but i'm having trouble with installing the drivers! I put the "drivers install" disc in and click on "my computer". Then I click on my disc drive and it brings up a window with a number of folders! I was told by someone in a Staples store that I had to click on each folder and overwrite the files. The first one for "Audio codex or modem" was okay but the next one seemed to take for ever! It says something about "unzipping" but it seems to take much longer than I was told it should! What else must I do if anything?

Windows 7 Reboots at "Starting Windows" Screen?

I just got a computer from my friend so I decided to move my harddrive and video card from the old computer to the new, not much of a problem. However when i booted the computer the computer would get to the "Starting Windows" screen and then it would just restart, as if I turned the computer off and turned it back on. I ended up formatting my harddrive and reinstalled Windows 7 and then I put my files back on with an external harddrive but I was just wondering if there was anyway other than that in order to solve that problem. [By the way, I have already tried to do the system repair using the Windows 7 disk but when I tried it the program said that it either "could not automatically repair startup" or that it "couldn't detect a problem". BMW has the worst reliability as they are always breaking. I've seen so many issues with window regulators as well. My Aunt had a BMW convertible and we had to get out of the car and help the motor by pushing the top down. No matter how many times they serviced the car for the convertible top it would just do break again. Honda's are nothing special. Everyone drives them, Its SICK. Just like Toyota's. Oblivion 4- gameplay no longer fluid- were do i start?

I have been playing Oblivion 4 for 3 months no problem but all the sudden as i move through the scene things get poppy. Not slow framerates just no longer the fluid motion it once had. I am a very happy 26 soon to be 27yr old mummy of 4, I have an 8yr old son Morgan, a 4yr old daughter Macey, a 3yr old son Regan & an 8month old dughter Ruby. I loved finding out I was pregnant with all of them, I loved being pregnant, I loved my hospital appointments, I loved the buzz waiting for them to arrive, I love every minute being a mum. I thought Ruby would be my last baby, a nice even number, 2 of each in perfect order.... But my brain is telling me otherwise & its really frustrating! Remove it completely then reinstall it, like you did before. then whenever you play the game, you have to keep the cd in the drive. Whenever you add another sim game to your collection you have install and keep the latest disk in the drive. I think that's the problem. Oh! and let's say u have double deluxe, then u add apartment life, you have to click on the apartment life icon to drive, and make sure the apartment cd is in the drive. I hope that works :) One last thing, of course your computer is going to ask if you want to make changes everytime the cd is in the drive, just say not and keep playing.

I have problems with my disk drives on my computer and everyday it says i am low on disk space when i dont even do anything, and i delete all the programs i dont use and it still says i am low. So i am going to reinstall Windows XP, and i want to know what partitions are used for? because it says something about making a new partition or deleting one, and when i try to delete one it says your computer might not run right. Help! Minecraft wont work?

I cant get minecraft to run on my mac..its running 10.5, latest java. When I try to log into the launcher it says "user not premium" (not downloaded) BUT it is downloaded! it doesnt give me the option to play offline..its the beta, I havent boughten the game. I looked around through my system folders and found the "minecraft" folder was empty!. I reinstalled at least 10 times and still, it always downloads with an empty folder! Also, the minecraft launcher doesnt look right, it has alot of code written at the top and its all glitchy. I tried this on another mac running 10.5 too and it did the same thing! then, i tried logging in on the website to play in browser but it still says user not premium and that i need to buy the game! please help!

I would have said something but I would have done it in a way that the mother would have responded the way I wanted her to which would be to stop it from happening. If someone were to yell or be rude to her she would just feel defensive and get mad. So instead I would probably lean in close to her to keep it private and nicely say "hun did you realize your daughter is kicking the baby, poor thing" in hopes she would respond by stopping the behavior. Most likely she would act like she had no idea and then do something about it but if she responded by saying "yea they always fight" or something like that, I would just say "oh that's so sad" and leave it at that.

In my experience, if you dont mind reinstalling, just do it. Those errors sound nasty and if safe mode is buggy, then its just easier. Viruses happen and sometimes reinstalling is the only way to show them who is boss. Good luck!

Boyfriend recently bought a Sanyo Zio & is having trouble with the yahoo messenger app. The app is downloaded in the phone, but when I tested it to see if it was working I ran into some problems. I logged on with the phone on his screen name, then got on my laptop logged in under my name. In his contact list it was showing me as being offline, when obviously I was online because I had just logged on with the laptop. Also, when trying to send a message from my yahoo on the laptop, to his yahoo on the phone, it would never show up on the phone. The computer showed it as sent in the chat box, but never popped up on the chat box on the phone. But when sending messages from his yahoo on the phone, to my yahoo on the computer, it sent instantly. Anybody else have these problems? We tried uninstalling then reinstalling the app, but still does the same thing??

What kind of Mitsubishi car/truck did I see?

I saw a car, a small car with a truck bed with the Mitsubishi sign on it on the street yestrday. It was like a miniature El Camino, but much cooler. I am a very happy 26 soon to be 27yr old mummy of 4, I have an 8yr old son Morgan, a 4yr old daughter Macey, a 3yr old son Regan & an 8month old dughter Ruby. I loved finding out I was pregnant with all of them, I loved being pregnant, I loved my hospital appointments, I loved the buzz waiting for them to arrive, I love every minute being a mum. I thought Ruby would be my last baby, a nice even number, 2 of each in perfect order.... But my brain is telling me otherwise & its really frustrating! I no that I shouldn't have anymore babies for reason's such as house & car space (although I do have a 7 seater!) & obviously because of money. Not only that but. I want to really enjoy my 4 babies. What's wrong with my computer?

I built a computer about 6 months ago, installed windows 7, and recently it's been having problems. ever since I installed windows the sound will not work after waking up from sleep, but only sometimes, and it works if I do a restart. the internet is sometimes a lot slower than other computers on the same network. And this next one has only happened twice, the hotkeys in starcraft 2 don't work or do different keys functions, but when I quit starcraft they work again. I have a quad core AMD proccessor, 4GB of ram, and a Nvidia Gforce GT240 video card, but a hard drive from a really old PC. what could I try to fix this? would reinstalling windows or buying a New HD help?

I have been driving for about 8 months and i've done about 7000miles in that time. Most of this has been in some what congested city driving and i drive a manual car so i feel im an ok driver now. I've decided i want something more visually appealing than my Nissan Hardbody for my last year in high school.
